paint brushes, various sizes for craft painting
any type of arts and crafts supplies such as feathers, glitter, pom poms, rhinestones, etc
tissue paper
crepe paper
stencils for drawing pictures
(the kind of things that can be easily transported, so nothing to heavy or bulky, we will purchase those types of items in Mexico)
they also want toys, craft kits, all with instructions in spanish, so, perhaps will also have to purchase those in Mexico. This is where any money donations would come in handy.
What they do not need is,

colored pencils
calculators
rulers
markers
pens or pencils
crayons
scotch tape
stickers
chalk
